ABOUT

Dungeons & Diners is a hybrid prototype of Cooking Simulation and Dungeon Crawling. Engage in a cooking roguelike where you can explore monster-filled dungeons for strange ingredients, then return to cook and serve magical meals that can shape your survival and reputation.

The current build is a prototype demo, intended to showcase the core gameplay along with the first chapter narrative. The rest of the game is still under development.

CONTROLS

• Arrows: Movement
• Z: Interact / Confirm (UI)
• X: Attack (in dungeon) / Serve (in diner) / Cancel (UI)
• C: Dash / Close (UI)
• Tab: Inventory Toggle
• Esc: Pause

KNOWN ISSUES

• Game build not running properly: The current build version (v0.3.1) is not working properly due to dungeon's UIs not able to display, causing interruption in game progression. We're working towards solving this issue as soon as possible.
• Unstable Quit/Restart function: The Quit and Restart function is currently unstable and may cause the game to freeze when restarting the game. Please avoid using these functions for the time being. Force-closing the game is recommended as an alternative.
• Tutorial Progression not well covered: Failing to complete the tutorial will result in soft-locking the game. We're working to fix this issue as soon as possible. For the time being, reopening the game is recommended as a temporary alternative.
• False attack knockback: Player may still receive knockback when attacking even if their attack hits nothing.
• Customer's interaction not indicated: Interaction indication for the customers without dialogues is not displayed despite them being within the interaction range. However, the interaction still works if interact input is detected.
